The Little Angel’s First Wish

High above the clouds, in a place full of stars and music, lived a little angel named Lina. She had shiny wings, a soft smile, and a golden bell on her dress. It was her first week in the sky, and she was very excited.

All angels had a job. Some watched over forests. Some helped people dream. Some sent love to the world.

One morning, the Angel Queen called Lina.

“Lina,” she said, “it’s time for your first mission. A little boy on Earth has made a wish.”

Lina’s eyes lit up. “Really? What is the wish?”

The Queen handed her a glowing star. “His name is Leo. He is seven years old. He feels very lonely. He just wants… a friend.”

Lina nodded. “I’ll help him.”

With a blink of light, she flew down to Earth, invisible to people but still able to hear and see everything.

She found Leo sitting alone in a small playground. His backpack was next to him, and his eyes were looking down.

“I’m not good at games,” he whispered. “No one talks to me.”

Lina felt sad. She wanted to help. But angels couldn’t just make friends appear like magic. That would be too easy. She had to find a gentle way.

She flew to the trees and made the wind blow softly. Leo looked up.

A piece of paper flew toward him. It was a drawing! A smiling sun and two kids holding hands.

Leo picked it up. On the back, it said:

“Smiles bring friends.”

Leo looked around. “Who sent this?”

Lina giggled quietly from the sky. She flew to a boy nearby who also sat alone and dropped a feather on his head. He looked up and smiled.

Leo saw the boy and walked over. “Hi. I’m Leo.”

The boy smiled back. “I’m Max. Want to play?”

“Yes!” said Leo, feeling something warm in his chest.

From above, Lina watched them play together. She rang the golden bell on her dress and flew back to the clouds.

The Angel Queen was waiting. “Well done, Lina.”

Lina smiled. “I didn’t give him a toy. I didn’t use magic. I just gave a little hope.”

“That’s all a real angel needs to do,” said the Queen.

And that night, Leo smiled in his sleep. In his dream, he saw a girl with shiny wings and a golden bell, flying under the stars.
